    Responsibilities

    What you will enjoy doing:

    As one of our Tractor and Trailer Mechanics, you be part of a maintenance team to perform all routine, preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance of Linde Commercial Motor Vehicles in accordance with Linde, local and national regulations and standards. You will assist regional maintenance teams with new technology, equipment installation and ongoing support. You will:

    • Promote a safe work environment through use of PPE as required in Linde standards
    • Issue and manage hazardous work permits as required for contractor personnel
    • Apply Lock Out Tag Out procedures
    • Meet on time SAP-PM generated truck and trailer work orders at required intervals and complete all documentation in the SAP-PM system
    • Perform corrective maintenance as identified through Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) and record all work performed in the SAP-PM system

    Qualifications

    Do you have what it takes?

    You must have a high school degree with a minimum of two years’ experience.  You must be able to diagnose and properly repair mechanical issues on tractors and trailers to include air brakes and braking systems, engine diagnostics, air and spring suspensions, ABS/RSS systems and diagnostics, drivelines, pumping systems, electrical systems, diagnostics and any other systems as required. ASE certification is preferred, but not required. You should have basic computer knowledge to include the ability to download diagnostic software, attend online training courses and perform e-mail communication as needed.
