Linde is currently seeking an Acetylene Cylinder Requalification Technician to join the team in the Twinsburg, OH area.

Purpose of the Position:


This position performs routine daily cylinder requalification work assignments including visual inspection, valve replacement, blasting, painting, handling, shipping, and minor equipment maintenance. The individual must follow industry and government guidelines and adhere to all company safety requirements. This employee works regularly with and around hazardous materials.


The position’s primary responsibilities include:

  • Performs cylinder requalification work assignments including visual inspection, valve replacement, blasting, painting, handling, shipping, and minor equipment maintenance. in accordance with regulatory and procedure requirements.
  • Executes daily work assignments in accordance with established priorities and orders and assure own work is accurate and correct and meets regulatory and existing procedure requirements and management’s expectations.
  • Conducts equipment troubleshooting and minor maintenance and routine inspection of operating equipment to fix or determine the need for additional equipment repairs or replacement, as needed.
  • Maintains work areas clean and organized.
  • Ability and willingness to work extended hours and weekends, as necessary.



  • High School Degree or GED 
  • Minimum 1 Year Experience working in an industrial setting




  • Forklift training and experience preferred
  • Safety must be first priority
  • Must have the ability to perform basic math functions
    Ability to read and comprehend policies, procedures and other company and industry documents
  • Aptitude to operate and maintain pneumatic and mechanical equipment
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment including forklifts, and pallet jacks.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, and work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
  • Must be able to read policies and procedures, follow and perform those work operations, as described.
  • Complete company administered classroom instruction and satisfactory pass written and practical demonstration exams within 6 months of hire for visual inspection and repairing as necessary
