Linde is currently seeking a Remote Operator 1 to join the team in theStewartsville, NJ area.

Purpose of the Position:

•  Run up to 6 ASU or CO2 locations simultaneously. Includes production changes and efficiency, power management, process disturbance and alarm management, plant shut downs and restarts. Direct support of $55 MM in cost for the locations assigned through power management and production efficiency.
•  This position is entry level, and the Remote Operator I can be promoted to the level of Remote Operator II on successful completion of the qualification process.

• Maintain the integrity of the Linde Technical Network through strict adherence to defined Network Security Practices and Requirements
• Maintain safe reliable and efficient plant operation
• Response to and troubleshooting of process upsets
• Enlist assistance of additional personnel for process or plant emergencies
• Execution of plant loading changes dictated by operations or logistics management
• Communicate plant problems to local personnel
• Communicate plant performance to Logistics and Central Dispatch
• Maintain individual plant logs

Basic:

• High School Degree
• Minimum 2 Years in a process plant related operations role.

Other:

• Fluent in either Spanish or Portuguese
• Related Military experience acceptable in lieu of plant experience
• Recent College graduates with a suitable engineering degree are also encouraged to apply.
• A Remote Operator I technician must qualify to be able to operate more that 50% of the plants to move to the position of Remote Operator II (Practical review).

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
