  • Overview

    To support the Union City plant operations in all production planning, including 3rd party product sourcing, inventory and communications with our external and internal customers (plants, central customer service, central production planning, local production, local distribution, and sales)

    Improve communication and/or service between the plants, customers, and sales

    Complete the daily Plant short ship report and communicate to customers any product short ships.

     

    Responsibilities

    Monthly planning:
    Support plant inventory -Physical counts, cycle counts
    Stock management and Stock KPIs monitoring
    Load CQuence with sales historical data from SAP (or work with central production planner's provided information)
    Work towards inventory accuracy
    Plant MRS review
    Support customer complaint process and/or issues

    Weekly planning:
    Load CQuence with sales historical data from SAP
    Support production supervisor to align production requirements with resources available in order to smooth out the peaks and downs or production
    Work with Branches to balance the orders to smooth out the demand with CQuence (supply to other plants)
    Objective stay in the MIN/MAX range for MTS products
    Support customer complaint process and/or issues

    Daily planning:
    Daily upload of inventory data
    Upload ‘real’ sales demand in CQuence
    Plan the production for MTO & COP
    Support production supervisor and Review MTS planning done by Regional planner to adjust with last minute resource changes (labor, equipment, material)
    Complete the Daily Short Ship report and Communicate any short ships to customers
    Support customer complaint process and/or issues

    High School Diploma required.

    Minimum 3 Years Compressed gas plant or similar industry
    Minimum 1 Year Inventory process

    SAP knowledge, intermediate computer skills (MS Office)
