    What you will enjoy doing:

    As one of our Coverage Coordinators, you will be responsible for the off hours issues associated with customer inventories and delivery scheduling/execution. You will work weeknights and weekends in handling emergency and nonemergency issues with customers and drivers. We’ll look to you to work with Distribution Planning Managers and Coverage Supervisor as well as other Distribution/Coverage planners and outside personnel.  You will:

    • Work with location management to resolve conflicts in the schedule created by the availability of equipment and drivers for dispatch and the number of stops, to best meet customer needs.
    • Help support the teams in meeting all safety goals set forth by distribution by planning and following all standards to ensure dangerous situations are avoided
    • Follow notification procedures to ensure communication lines between field locations, schedulers, management, and coverage are complete and effective.
    • Manage and update data and information associated with the GOLD system and Tel-tank alarms including usage rates and notification requirements


    Do you have what it takes?

    You must have a bachelor’s degree with concentration in business logistics preferred with a minimum of one year experience. Prior experience in trucking or distribution may be considered equivalent to a four year business degree.  Must be customer service oriented and capable of multi-tasking.  One to two years of experience working with scheduling and related systems will put your resume above the rest.
