    Responsibilities

    What you will enjoy doing:

    As a Lab Technician your primary focus will be to analyze products from packages and/or processes and certify individual critical contaminant levels as specified within customer specifications. You will have the opportunity to operate different analytical instruments to achieve this goal. You will:

    • Ensure timely throughput of product through lab work queue
    • Operate required analytical instrumentation
    • Accurately input and document analytical data into all necessary analytical and plant process logs
    • Ensure compliance with the formalized written program for all laboratory activities
    • Participate in ongoing continuous improvement initiatives of analytical process systems
    • Perform statistical analyses of processes as required to meet quality control standards
    • Support investigate of production defects and assist Quality Team in control of Nonconforming material
    • Maintain analytical equipment including preventive maintenance as directed by the lab supervisor

     

    Qualifications

    Do you have what it takes?

    • An associate’s degree in chemistry
    • A minimum of two years’ experience in ops/lab
    • Must be familiar with the analytical operations associated with liquefied or high- pressure gas products using a GC, FTIR, and process analyzers
    • The individual should have experience with SPC/SQC, or other statistical methods of quality measurement and Measurement Systems Analysis techniques
    • Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP
