    What you will enjoy doing:

    As our Distribution Supervisor – CSCM, you will lead and manage daily transportation operations for assigned location(s) by providing properly trained and prepared driver and equipment resources. You will also lead cross functional support teams on continuous improvement projects and initiatives.  Our Distribution Supervisor - CSCM has significant involvement with all logistic action plans to support regional supply network.  Your responsibilities will include:

    • Manage the SHEQ Activity

    • Ensure all healthcare related activities comply with current good manufacturing practices and relevant accreditation standards

    • Ensure delivery driver compliance with relevant home delivery processes

    • Maintain personnel files and medical surveillance activities

    • Lead incident/injury investigations and work closely with SHEQ

    • Implement and support national transport process changes and initiatives

    • Manage and motivate excellent performance and organization of office staff and drivers

    • Counsel, coach and discipline employees

    • Manage daily schedules for drivers and ensure compliance with Linde and legal/regulatory requirements

    • Manage maintenance programs for vehicles, equipment and customer stations

    • Lead Location Administration - purchase cards, customer billing, driver payroll, on board recording systems

    • Manage Transportation related SAP processes

    • Lead process to ensure after hours coverage for the location to meet customer demands

    • Assist in the coordination of response to support the demands of major plant and onsite locations during outages

    • Lead project implementation initiatives for new technology


    Do you have what it takes?

    You must have a high school diploma or GED (bachelor’s degree preferred) with a minimum of three years’ supervisory and distribution experience. You must have knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and hazmat regulations and be familiar with CGMP regulations.  Strong computer literacy and coaching skills are necessary.  Knowledge of National Labor Relations Board regulations are preferred.  Familiarity with PM based maintenance programs a plus, good communication skills required.
