We are looking for a Customer Engineering Services (CES) Area Maintenance and Service Manager to sit in our Norristown, PA or either Bridgewater or Stewartsville, NJ location.
The purpose of the CES Regional Maintenance and Services Manager is to support the Sales Markets and Engineering in the successful commercialization of new business and to maintain existing customers, so the equipment is fit for use, safe and reliable.
What you will enjoy doing:
— Responsible for approximately 15 to 20 CES Technicians, building and maximizing the capabilities of the CES organization by providing leadership and ensuring that Technicians are effectively trained, safe and certified as required. Spends time coordinating maintenance and ensuring quality standards are met. Also spends time coordinating tank installations, partnered with CES Construction Technicians and Project Managers. Responsible for driving Service Lead Generation and supporting Service Growth within Region. Coordinates labour with NOC.
— Responsible for being the Regional Resource for technical understanding of local codes and requirements to support all Installations within geographic region. This include differences in code requirements between states, provinces, and/or countries.
— To oversee and participate in all aspects of the bulk installation operation in This includes activities such as: approve all new installations, provide technical information whenever requested, handle customer related issues, influence the best maintenance practices, follow all internal and regulatory safety and operation practices and maintain dialogue with bulk product suppliers.
— Handle service related calls during and off working hours and decide on a corrective action for them.
— Provide a final corrective action to others where a firm decision is required.
— Provide technical information and establish Linde policy wherever it needs to be implemented.
— Handle customer related queries and issues such as pipeline design and cleaning and credit requests.
— Establish the best maintenance practices and service operational procedures.
— Create an accident free environment and always encourage safe working procedures.
— Establish a basic requirement for CES Service vehicles.
— Initiate and carry out all Company Operational and Engineering Directives.
— Continuously maintain compliance with all periodically mandatory licenses such as brazing certificates, ODS training and TSSA Quality Control manual.
— Assist with the day-to-day service issues, establish best problem solving solution practices.
— Perform administrative functions such as conduct safety meetings, review and improve on best operating practices and contribute to LiMSS chapter writing.
Do YOU have what it takes?
Required education: Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred, applicable substitute experience in CES Field Work will be considered (10 years)
Minimum 5 Years functional experience with cryogenic tanks and related equipment
Minimum 3 Years supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of cryogenic fluid properties, electrical, plumbing, brazing characteristics, storage tank operating knowledge and basic refrigeration.
