    Responsibilities

    What you will enjoy doing:

    As one of our Plant Supervisors, you will manage the safe and efficient production of high pressure, industrial, medical, specialty gases, as well as healthcare operations and cylinder maintenance. You will be working closely with sales, marketing and external customers to provide industrial gases in full and on time. You will:

    • Manage plant operations including cylinder filling, cylinder maintenance, plant maintenance and distribution
    • Optimize cylinder retest department to meet internal and external customer requirements and demand
    • Provide technical support to sales, marketing, customer service, and external customers
    • Continually evaluate plant staffing and employee development to establish a cross functional team that is focused on continual improvement.
    • Develop and establish a plant training program that meets the development needs of the plant. Drives change positively, by recognizes it as opportunity to become a high performing organization. Uses tools to help implement and sustain change such as HPO Project
    • Actively listens to staff input concerning daily operations to ensure staff members are aware of situations that may affect their work.

    Qualifications

    Do you have what it takes?

    You must have a high school diploma, college degree is preferred but not required. Minimum of three years of experience in a plant or manufacturing environment and at least two years of supervisory experience. Industry experience a plus. Mechanical aptitude preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in MS Office, especialy Excel and Word. Good knowledge of a wide range of SAP transactions.
