    Responsibilities

    What you will enjoy doing:
    As our Cylinder Prepper-Loader you will count, examine for defect, and prepare cylinders for filling and load/unload onto trucks. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Understand and follow all Linde Safety Policies
    • Understand GMP’s and Quality Control practices
    • Count all incoming cylinders
    • Examine and take appropriate action on all parts of a cylinder including the labels and valve

       while following Linde, local, state, and federal regulations

    • Document thermometer, gauge and analytical equipment calibrations
    • Safely operate a forklift
    • Appropriately document incoming shipments
    • Perform all required pre-fill and post-fill inspections and tests
    • Ensure cylinders and associated monitoring devices are adequately maintained
    • Safely operate a forklift and hand truck
    • Perform mathematical calculations as necessary
    • Perform other duties as assigned

     

    Qualifications

    Do you have what it takes?

    • A high school diploma or GED
    • Good written and verbal skills
    • Basic computer skills
    • Motivation with high energy
    • Formal forklift training/experience is preferred
    • Ability to read and understand DOT and FDA required paperwork
    • Ability to work outdoors in varying degrees of temperature
    • Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to 100 pounds
    • Ability to perform work during prolonged standing – up to eight hours
    • Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping, feeling, and repetitive motion is also required.
