    Responsibilities

    Lead through visible leadership by fostering a strong safety culture and ensure a safe work environment with a commitment to zero injuries. Identify and prevent losses of all kinds and maintain compliance with the permit to work system. Ensure all Safety standards are implemented. Investigate, identify and correct root causes of incidents and near misses to ensure unsafe conditions are prevented in the future. Lead the overall safety process for the plant. Ensure that the Operations business is conducted in compliance with all applicable environmental regulatory standards. Ensure that the Operations business is conducted in compliance with the product quality contractual requirements.

    •  Ensure that all instrumentation initiatives support our goal that no one gets hurt with
      zero process safety incidents
    •  Contribute to and maintain LiMSS content and related SAP PM job plans:
      •  As-built drawings
      • Standards and procedures
    • Working with teams(s):
      •  Support outage, retrofit/upgrades, major maintenance and spares planning by
        developing work scopes based on up to date condition information and relevant
        equipment and/or vendor history. Participate in re-life and new plant/equipment
        commissioning 
      • Input to standard plant and equipment based instrument turnaround scope
        templates
      • Support plant reliability, efficiency, contingency/risk and I/O health check
        initiatives
    • Execute assigned projects (cross region and/or individual plant):
      • Execute personal work scope 
      • Coordinate with central and field staff as required
      • Ensure project delivers commitments scope on time, on budget, and to required levels of quality
    • Support the proposal and commercialization process providing input on scope and
      area estimates
    • Collaborate with team members: Input to local initiatives, local PMs, lend
      support when needed, and help with solving operational issues
    • Troubleshoot plant operation and control system problems
    • Assist with direct instrumentation, controls, and measurement support
      during normal operations, major plant outages or other circumstances.
    • Analyze the failure for root cause and recommend corrective measures
    • Ensure that all controls and measurement work is accomplished to required codes,
      procedures, internal and external standards. Follow programming practices
      developed for existing systems
    • EMOC protocols are diligently followed with no exceptions.

    Qualifications

    A bachelor's degree, preferably a BS in Engineering is required, along with minimum 5 years' experience, with at least 2 years in plant operations or engineering support in an Operations environment.

     

    We're also looking for the ability to deliver complete solutions, someone with strong application engineering skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, an understanding of Industrial Automation software and hardware, and has strong analytical and quantitative skills including SAP expertise.
